The Ceylon Tea Lion Logo denotes not only the origin but quality as well. The Sri Lanka Tea Board is the legitimate owner of the logo and authorizes its use only to exporters of tea in retail packs who conform to a strict set of regulations. The packs should contain 100% Ceylon Tea, achieve a specified standard of quality set by the Tea Board and above all, has to be packed in Sri Lanka.
